The Technology

Equipment chosen for evidence, not just for tracking

A monitoring programme is only as good as the record it produces. Everything we deploy is selected because it holds up when a judge asks how we know where someone was.

Multi-source positioning

Devices combine satellite positioning with cellular and Wi-Fi location data. When a client goes indoors, into a parking structure, or anywhere satellite signal degrades, positioning continues from the other sources rather than simply dropping out.

On-board storage

Location data is written to the device itself, not only to the network. If cellular coverage is lost, the record continues and uploads once the device reconnects — so a coverage gap does not become a hole in the compliance history.

Tamper and interference detection

Strap integrity, case tamper, signal jamming, and unexpected power loss are all detected and time-stamped. Each alert is reviewed by a person before it is treated as a violation.

Zones and mapping

Inclusion zones for home, work, school and treatment; exclusion zones for addresses the order keeps a client away from. Historical movement can be replayed on a map and exported for a hearing.

Two-way contact

Staff can reach a client through the device to resolve an issue before it escalates. A great many apparent violations turn out to be a dead battery or a schedule misunderstanding, and a phone call settles it.

Configured per order

Alert thresholds, notification routing, curfew windows and reporting frequency are set to what the court actually ordered. Agencies with their own protocols can have those mirrored rather than working around a fixed template.

24/7 Monitoring

Alerts reach a person, not a queue

Monitoring runs continuously, every day of the year. Alerts are triaged by trained staff who look at the context before anything is escalated: what the order permits, where the client was supposed to be, whether the device is behaving normally.

When something genuinely needs attention, we make the outbound calls — to the client, to the residence, to the supervising authority and counsel of record as the order requires. Courts and attorneys are not left to interpret raw alert data on their own.

  • Alert triageEvery alert reviewed against the client's approved schedule before escalation.
  • Resolution callsWe contact the client first where appropriate, and document the outcome.
  • Notification routingWho gets told, and how fast, follows the protocol in the order.
  • Equipment supportFaults are logged as faults, and a technician is dispatched.

Reporting Pipeline

How monitoring data becomes a court record

Every signal we collect is reviewed by trained staff before it appears in a report. Equipment faults and signal loss are logged as faults — not violations.

What counsel and the court receive is a clean, time-stamped compliance record formatted for filing, with staff available to provide affidavits or testimony where required.

Alcohol Monitoring

Remote breath testing with identity verification

Where an order includes an alcohol condition, remote breath testing lets a client complete tests from home or work rather than travelling to a collection site for every reading.

Each test captures a breath sample together with a photograph for identity verification and a location stamp. Missed tests are recorded as thoroughly as completed ones — an absent reading is itself part of the compliance record.

  • Scheduled and random testsSet to the pattern the order calls for.
  • Identity confirmationPhoto capture with each sample so results are attributable.
  • Location with every testBoth taken and missed tests are location-stamped.
  • Prompt reportingPositive results reported per the notification protocol in the order.

Pricing

Transparent, affordable, and flexible

Program cost depends on the service ordered, the length of supervision, and the equipment required. We quote clearly up front — no surprise fees midway through a program.

Every quote is specific to the case. Tell us the jurisdiction, the conditions of the order and the expected length of supervision, and we will give you a clear figure before anything is committed — enrolment cost, the ongoing rate, and any equipment deposit, with no fees introduced later in the programme.

Request a quote

What affects the rate

  • Service type (GPS, home detention, curfew, testing)
  • Length of the supervision period
  • Reporting frequency required by the court
  • Travel distance for installation and service calls
  • Whether a third party or program is covering the cost
Payment assistance may be available. Ask us — inability to pay in full should not keep someone in custody.
